A closed bottom hides channeling and scratches the grip
The stock closed-bottom handle does not show how extraction flows, and an original grip wears or scratches over time. A bottomless portafilter opens the bottom so you can watch the pour and spot an uneven tamp.
- βͺΒ Β Hidden flow. A closed spout masks channeling mid-shot.
- βͺΒ Β Scratched grip. An original handle wears thin with use.
- βͺΒ Β No feedback. You cannot see a weak or fast stream.
- βͺΒ Β Hard to diagnose. Channeling passes unnoticed without a naked view.
Locks in and lets you watch the extraction
The 54mm lugs lock onto the group head, the stainless double basket holds a single or double dose, and the open bottom lets espresso fall straight into the cup so you can spot a fast or weak stream.
Open base shows the full extraction path.
Stainless mesh holds a single or double dose.
Made for Breville-style 54mm group heads.
Swap a worn original handle instead of a new machine.
Stainless basket on a black grip
The head is stainless steel with a fine mesh double basket, the open base has no spout, and the black ergonomic handle locks onto the group head lugs.
- βͺΒ Β Stainless basket. Rinse clean and resists corrosion.
- βͺΒ Β Open bottom. No spout blocks the extraction view.
- βͺΒ Β Ergonomic grip. Balanced handle for locking in.
- βͺΒ Β 54mm lugs. Match your group head spacing first.
