Cheap bodies have orange peel, thin paint and runny clear coat. This one is done right.

Flip the truck. Pop out the body clips from the mounting posts. Lift the old body off.
Make sure the body posts line up with the holes in the new shell. Adjust if needed.
Line up the mounting holes with the posts. Press down until it seats.
Push the body clips through the posts. Done. Go bashing.

Four rules that keep the body looking new.
Polycarbonate is tough, but a few habits keep the paint fresh.
- βͺΒ Β Clean with soap and water. Do not use alcohol or harsh cleaners. They strip the clear coat. Warm water and dish soap does the job.
- βͺΒ Β Do not peel decals on purpose. If a decal lifts, press it back down. A hair dryer softens the adhesive so it lays flat.
- βͺΒ Β Store off concrete. Concrete draws moisture. Keep the body on a shelf or in a box when not on the truck.
- βͺΒ Β Check the clips after each run. Loose clips fly out and you lose the body mid-bash. Give them a quick check before you run.
